App Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the mobile applications published by Forge Syntax under our developer accounts on the Apple App Store and Google Play. By downloading or using an App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the Apps on devices you own or control, for your own lawful use, in accordance with these Terms and the applicable app store rules.

When using our Apps, you agree to:

• Use the Apps only for lawful purposes and in compliance with all applicable laws
• Not reverse engineer, decompile, modify, or attempt to extract the source code of the Apps, except where such restriction is prohibited by law
• Not interfere with, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to any systems or networks used by the Apps
• Not use the Apps to transmit unlawful, harmful, or infringing content
• Not use the Apps for any commercial purpose without our prior written consent

We are committed to protecting your privacy. Our Apps are designed with a privacy-first approach:

• We do not sell your personal data to third parties
• Data you work with is generally stored on your device where possible
• Any data transmitted is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy
• We comply with applicable data protection laws including GDPR and CCPA where applicable

Some Apps offer in-app purchases, including premium upgrades and subscriptions. All purchases are processed and billed by the Apple App Store or Google Play under their terms. We do not handle your payment information directly.

• Purchases: Linked to your Apple or Google account. You can restore eligible purchases on your devices using the store's standard restore feature.
• Subscriptions: Auto-renew unless cancelled before the renewal date. You can manage or cancel subscriptions through your app store account settings at any time.
• Pricing: All prices are displayed in local currency and may vary by region as determined by the app store platform.

Because in-app purchases are processed by the app stores, all billing, refund, and cancellation requests are handled by Apple or Google in accordance with their respective policies. Any refund eligibility is determined solely by the applicable app store.

Some Apps are supported by advertising delivered through Google AdMob, which may include third-party ad networks. These providers operate under their own terms and privacy policies.

• AdMob may use your advertising identifier to show relevant ads
• You can opt out of personalized ads via your device settings
• Where offered, you can remove all advertising by purchasing a premium (ad-free) upgrade or subscription within the App

The Apps may integrate with or rely on third-party services including app store platforms, advertising networks, analytics tools, and operating system features. We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of these third parties. Your use of their services is subject to their own terms.

Third-party services we may use include:

• Google Play Services
• Google AdMob & AdMob Mediation
• Google Firebase (Analytics, Crashlytics)
• Apple App Store services

The Apps, including their software, design, branding, and content, are owned by or licensed to Forge Syntax and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Except for the limited license granted above, no rights are transferred to you.

You may not reproduce, modify, distribute, or create derivative works of our Apps or any content therein without our prior written consent.

The Apps are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that:

• The Apps will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure
• The Apps will be compatible with every device or operating system version
• Any defects or errors will be corrected
• The Apps will meet your specific requirements

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Forge Syntax is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or any loss of data, arising from your use of or inability to use the Apps.

Our total liability to you for any claims arising from these Terms or your use of our Apps shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or $10 USD, whichever is greater.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date above. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.

Continued use of an App after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, please discontinue use of the App.
